I love spending time around the Stanford campus — whether that's hanging around the GSB, dropping into something at HAI, or just walking around. That energy keeps me sharp and reminds me why I do what I do. If you're ever around, reach out — I'm always happy to meet people building things.
I believe technology and capital, when put in the right hands, can genuinely change people's lives. That's the mission behind everything I've worked on.
I co-founded Blocklead Venture Studio, a Web3 and AI accelerator where we work directly with early-stage founders building in blockchain, decentralized finance, and AI. We get into the details with founders on strategy, technical architecture, marketing, and fundraising — and stay involved well beyond the early stages.
I worked at Ganas Ventures, a fund focused on early-stage startups across the US and Latin America. That chapter deepened something I already felt strongly — Latin America is full of founders solving real problems with real grit, and it's a region I've spent a lot of time writing and thinking about.
Along the way I've been part of some great communities — Ripple's fellowship, OneValley Ventures, and Alumni Ventures — and did innovation consulting for the British Embassy in Mexico City on tech and trade partnerships between the UK and Mexico. Bridging ecosystems and cultures is something I genuinely care about.
My first real company was DiscoverPlus, an e-commerce and branding agency I started in San Diego in 2019. We helped brands grow across 20+ countries on Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify. Building that from nothing taught me more than any class ever did.
I've been a keynote speaker at Talent Land three times — one of Latin America's largest innovation events. I've also spent years mentoring founders there, and that experience has shaped me just as much as anything else I've done.
I studied Economics and Computer Science at Santa Clara University, I'm fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and I've published research on VC in Latin America, CBDC policy, and the macroeconomics of crypto. Most nights you'll find me coding or going down a rabbit hole I probably shouldn't have opened at midnight.
